JUNE 14, 2021 – In Honor of Pride Month, Build America Mutual and our associates are taking the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our LGBTQ+ colleagues, counterparties, and members.  At BAM, we celebrate and embrace the unique contributions made by people of all cultures, and encourage employees to take time this month to reflect on the history and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community and those who have championed and helped change laws and policies to promote equal rights. At the same time, we acknowledge that much work remains to be done to ensure an inclusive society for all and will strive to be a part of the solution.

As we encourage and support an inclusive environment for the LGBTQ+ community, BAM stands firm against all forms of harassment and discrimination and pledges to maintain a safe and supportive environment for our employees and counterparties. We are fully committed to providing a welcoming workplace where everyone is supported, valued, and empowered to be their authentic self. To that end, we will continue to increase the cultural competency of our team, and share new resources to support our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
